Our beloved DANYA has been a cornerstone in our breeding program for many years, and she has blessed us with many gorgeous crias in an array of wonderful colors. Over the years, DANYA’s crias have been some of our top sellers - they have consistently been successful in the showring, in both Canada and the USA.
DANYA’s fleece is incredibly dense, and she always passes this density down to her offspring. In spite of her advancing age, DANYA still maintains both luster and a soft hand to her fleece. Her conformation is excellent, very straight and well balanced - attributes she also passes on to her youngsters.
As a production female, she is the heaviest milker in our herd. Consequently, her babies grow rapidly and mature early. Her daughters seem to inherit this heavy milking ability, so that they, too, produce strong vigorous crias. Always calm and serene, DANYA is truly a treasure at Tell Tale Farm. Based on the showring success of DANYA's previous progeny, we know that her upcoming cria will be another winner! |

Prizes Won: Although DANYA has not been shown, many of her offspring are champions. DANYA’s 1999 daughter, TELL RAQUEL, was Supreme Champion Huacaya at the Spring Spectacular Alpaca Show as a yearling. DANYA's 2001 TELL D’VILLA, is a daughter of VICTOR’S VACCOYO (full Accoyo son of ACCOYO PPERUVIAN VICTOR). This stylish brown female who was a consistent winner in the Canadian showring as a juvenile, then was sold and shown in the USA, where she won two AOBA Reserve Color Championships as a yearling. TELL D’LUXE won Second Place in a class of eighteen Juvenile White Females at the 2002 Northlands Farm and Ranch Show.
